Models, poses and backdrops
Main model
Select a model and press Make main model. The button turns green. The lights aim at this model and keep following it when it moves, and Focus model and the camera use it as the subject. A light that stands right against a wall or pillar keeps its direction. Move it a little, then press Aim now in its Aim tab.
Editing a pose
Models marked Poseable have an Edit pose button next to Make main model. It opens the pose editor in place of the Inspector.
Start from one of the Poses: Standing, Sitting, Leaning, Bend forward, Crouching or Kneeling. Put a sitting model on a seat with the height control, and a leaning model against a wall or object. Turn person turns the whole model.
Then choose a Body part: Head, Body, Arms, Legs, Hands or Feet, and Left or Right where that applies. Each joint has its own sliders, which move in 1° steps. Turn on Fine control for small corrections in 0.1° steps.
For hands, Relaxed, Open and Fist set the whole hand at once, and Finger detail shapes one finger at a time.
The floor, the walls and the model’s own body and clothing limit how far a joint can move, so the pose stays believable. The reset button below undoes the body part you are working on, Reset pose undoes everything, and Done takes you back to the Inspector.
Backdrops
Select a paper backdrop to see the Backdrop tab. Pick a Paper color, from white and greys to black, beige, chroma green, chroma blue and red. Surface sets Matte paper, Satin or glossy Vinyl, which shows clear reflections.
