Search, favorites and collections

Search by name, note or saved setup details. Favorites shows only starred items. Filter and sort narrows the list by Studio or Collection and sorts by Last updated, Date created or Name. Clear filters puts the list back.

Collections are simple groups you name yourself, such as clients, shoots or school projects. An item belongs to one collection at a time, and you pick or create it while saving or under Edit item.

View and edit an item

Select an item to see its saved picture, settings, lighting diagram where there is one, and notes. If it holds several setups, choose which preview to inspect. The star marks a favorite. Deleting an item asks for confirmation.

Edit item changes the name, collection and notes, and adds, replaces or removes two of your own photos: a Result photo of the finished image and a Setup photo of the real lighting arrangement. JPEG, PNG and WebP are supported, up to 10 MB per photo, and a photo is saved as soon as you choose it. These sit alongside the saved preview and any reference photo you included from a studio.

Print and present

Print / Save PDF on an item makes a document with its picture, lighting diagram where available, and settings. Pick a collection in Filter and sort and the bar above the list offers Print / Save PDF for the whole collection and Present, which shows its images full screen. Present is the one to use at a shoot or in class.

On your phone

The Archive works on phone and tablet as well. The list and the item appear as separate screens: tap an item to view it, then go back without losing your search or filters. You can read settings and photos, and edit notes, collections and your Result or Setup photos. To change an actual 3D setup, open it in its studio on a desktop.
