Backup and restore

Download a backup

Choose Download backup in the left sidebar. The ZIP contains your saved setups, comparisons, notes, previews and stored photos. Unpack it and open Archive.html to browse the copy offline.

Previews and stored photos use WebP. Stored photos are processed copies, not the original camera uploads. Keep your original photographs separately. The ZIP contains personal photos and notes and is not encrypted.

Restore a backup

Choose Restore backup and select the original, unchanged ZIP. Review the item count and required storage, then confirm. Restored items are added as new copies; existing items are not replaced. Restoring the same backup again adds another set of copies.

Before leaving Studio

Download a backup before your Studio access ends or you delete your account. Keep it somewhere you can find again. Expand About the Archive at the bottom of the page for a short reminder of how backups work.
