Advanced Mode
Photo Lighting and Artist Lighting open in a simple layout with the Key and Fill light. The Advanced button at the top of the control panel opens the rest of the workspace. It stays on until you switch it off again, so you only have to do this once.
What Advanced adds
- The Back and Hair light, the third and fourth light.
- A Gel row on every light, for colored light.
- The extra steps in between the skin tones and backdrops.
- The Rim Light, 3-Point, Broad and Short presets, which all need a back light.
- The stops reading and the Kelvin dot next to each light, and renaming a light.
- In Photo Lighting: Photo tools and the Analysis switch.
- Saved setups, comparison and Print.
Switching Advanced off hides these controls and returns you to the 3D view. It does not throw away your lights, so switching it back on shows the same setup again.
