Top View, print, saving and shortcuts

Top View

Top View shows the room as a floor plan. Orange lines show where each light points, with its distance to the face. Arrows show which way a model faces, and a blue wedge shows what the camera sees. Switch each of these on or off in the bar at the top. Show whole room fits the full room, and Fit setup zooms in on what you placed.

Drag to move objects, right-drag to slide the plan and scroll to zoom.

Print setup turns your set into pages for the shoot. Choose A4 landscape or A4 portrait. Pick a Lighting diagram with clear symbols and a 3D top view, and add a Room overview & light table or your own 3D view as extra pages. On the plan you can add direction and camera lines, distance chips and a small legend.

Set your angle in the 3D view first if you include it. Print / Save PDF prepares the pages and opens the print window, where you can also save a PDF. Preview is optional. After changing your set, open Print setup again to print the new version.

Saving

While you work, your set is kept in this browser. That is only browser memory, not a save. Save to the Archive (Ctrl+S or Cmd+S) keeps the scene with your Lumen Tool account, with a name, an optional note and an optional collection. Archive opens The Archive, where Open in Studio 05 brings the scene back as you left it.
